U.S. Women’s Olympic Gymnastics Team

About 20 minutes ago, USA gymnastics announced the women’s Olympic team.  And the Olympians are:

Shawn Johnson, Nastia Liukin, Chellsie Memmel, Alicia Sacramone, Samantha Peszek, and Bridget Sloan.  (Alternates:  Ivana Hong, Jana Bieger, and Corrie Lothrop)

I have been online for the last couple of hours, waiting nervously with other gymnastics fans for this announcement.  There were over 200 of us on the same discussion board!  We did manage to entertain each other to pass the time.  :-)

    How fun! Thanks for keeping us updated in the gymnastics world. I don’t know much of what’s going on since we don’t have cable tv anymore, but they are always fun to watch.
